Devon Farm Kitchen is an award-winning social enterprise, established by Rowcroft Hospice, for the core purpose of generating much-needed income, to enable the Hospice to continue to deliver outstanding specialist palliative and end-of-life care, free of charge.
All our delicious tasting, wholesome and nutritional frozen meals are lovingly handmade by our chefs and dietitians in Devon and delivered direct to our customers, taking advantage of the wonderful resources and produce available, right on our doorstep.
This role is essential because through the work of Devon Farm Kitchen we aim to build a long-term sustainable income stream for the hospice so that we can continue to provide compassionate care to our patients and their families for generations to come.
Our customers are important to us, and this volunteer position will provide extra support to our team, advising customers on our latest menus, gaining feedback to keep improving the service we offer and ensuring our customers feel appreciated and valued.
This role will suit you if you are someone who enjoys speaking to people and sharing positive information about our work, you are confident having conversations with customers and making people feel valued and enjoy administrative work.
Volunteering in this way will provide a rewarding way to utilise your skills and connect with our customers, the opportunity to significantly impact and contribute to our mission of providing compassionate care to our patients and their families, and the chance to be part of a positive and enthusiastic team.
