40 Years of Care photo exhibition

With this year marking Rowcroft’s 40th anniversary, we’re creating a stunning photo exhibition to celebrate the lives of all the amazing people who have been cared for by the hospice since we opened in 1982.

Running between 30 April to 8 May 2022, 9am to 5pm, the photo exhibition will be situated in Rainbow House in the grounds of the hospice (Avenue Road, Torquay) and everyone is warmly invited to come along, whether you have a link to the hospice or not. Entry is FREE and all are welcome (booking not required). The exhibition will also include fascinating displays about Rowcroft’s history including features about: Ella Rowcroft; the building of Rainbow House; key figures in the founding of the hospice and its early years; our supporters and volunteers; and Rowcroft’s plans for enhancing and expanding our care into the future.

For further information, please visit our main page about our 40 Years of Care exhibition.

Rowcroft’s 40 Years of Care photo exhibition is kindly sponsored by Stockman & Loram The Family Run Funeral Service and Express Stairlifts Southwest. We’d also like to thank Havills for their support with exhibition stands and lighting, and Harrier for their support with materials, canvases and printing.
