Food is very close to our hearts. Food is important not only for energy and strength, but also for the healthy functioning of the immune system, maintaining independence and mental health, as well as supporting healing and recovery when needed.”

With ever-growing consumer demands for convenient, high quality food delivered to people’s homes, Devon Farm Kitchen meals are freshly frozen providing ‘deliciously satisfying’, wholesome dishes in a sustainably convenient way. There is no plastic waste and all packaging is reusable or 100% recyclable and compostable.

Mark Hawkins, CEO at Rowcroft Hospice, said: “Our meals have been carefully developed with Peter Gorton, a fellow of the Master Chef’s of Great Britain and one of Devon’s finest chefs, to ensure they are ‘deliciously satisfying.’” The carefully crafted dishes are made using British sourced ingredients, with a focus on supporting local Devon farming and fishing communities. The dishes are prepared by Devon Farm Kitchen chefs and served directly on to returnable ceramic plates and bowls, making them easy to cook in a microwave or conventional oven.

There is so much choice. To name just a few family favourites, there’s delicious locally sourced roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, sausage and mash, Brixham fish pie, Thai fishcakes and vegetable curry. There are also sumptuous desserts including mouth-watering lemon curd pudding, rich sticky toffee pudding, and the heavenly chocolate and walnut pudding, along with a range of scrumptious local icecream for those who prefer lighter dessert.

Mark Hawkins said: “Devon Farm Kitchen will transform mealtimes for many people. We are proud to go above and beyond, using friendly and well-trained delivery drivers, all of whom are there to inform customers about the exciting range of meals and desserts, the nutritional benefits of each dish, and cooking instructions. Our goal is to become the number one frozen food delivery brand in Devon – delivering to your door the very best for taste, quality, service and dining experience. And we have ambitions to expand nationwide.
