Volunteering - the gift of time
As a charity we rely on the amazing support of our volunteers, who give their time and expertise so generously. They are a vital part of everything we do.
Last year our wonderful volunteers donated more than 52,500 hours of their time altogether. No matter what role you take on, volunteering for the hospice means you’ll be helping local people with a life-limiting illness to make the most of every moment. Volunteering can also bring with it a host of benefits. You’ll have the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and boost your CV.
Who can be a volunteer?
Volunteering is open to anyone aged 14 or above and we welcome volunteers from all walks of life. So if you have some time to spare, please consider joining our team.
You can choose to help out at the hospice itself, in our busy Newton Abbot distribution centre, at one of our flagship events, or in one of our many wonderful Torbay & South Devon shops and cafes.
