The uncertainty and anxiety brought by the coronavirus pandemic have been felt by all of us across South Devon and the world. It’s an unsettling and challenging time for everyone as we experience changes to our lives that we’ve never seen before.
But despite these changes, we at Rowcroft Hospice, want you to know that some things are continuing unchanged. This is our promise to you – our community. Through these tough times, we will continue to support you in the safest way we can. Together, we will stay positive for the future; we will stay strong, united as one community.
While the coronavirus takes its toll, the demand for our already-stretched services is set to increase. As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity and support of our wonderful local community – who fund the overwhelming majority of our care. We still need your support and we want to assure you that we are doing all we can to enable The Sleep Walk to go ahead for 2020. To do this, we have decided to postpone the event to Saturday 12 September 2020. We really hope that you will be able to join us.
Please rest assured that if you have already registered and are unable to make the new date, you are entitled to a full refund. This also applies if the UK’s restrictions on gatherings continues for longer than expected and we have to make the difficult decision to cancel the event. We will of course be monitoring the situation and keeping you informed.
If anyone has any comments, questions or concerns please feel free to get in touch with the events team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 12 September!
