Classroom learning event

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the process of advance care planning and resources that have been developed for people with learning disabilities.
  • To recognise cues and facilitate conversations with people about their plans and hopes for the future.
  • To consider ways to enable people you work with to have choices at end of life.

Cost:

FREE* to those working in the Rowcroft catchment area of Torbay & South Devon

Rowcroft is a charity that provides palliative care in South Devon. We expect non-local attendees to donate at least £10 per applicant for this learning event to help support our work.

*There will be a £25 charge for non-attendance and late cancellations (48 hours’ notice required) at our classroom events. Please see our Terms and Conditions when completing the booking form.

Places are limited and priority will be given to those working in the Rowcroft/Torbay & South Devon locality. Maximum of three places are available to each workplace.
