At Rowcroft Hospice, we’re thrilled to celebrate Devon Farm Kitchen’s fourth anniversary this March, marking its launch in 2021. Devon Farm Kitchen is a social enterprise delivering delicious, handcrafted, frozen meals to homes across South Devon, to generate long-term income for the hospice. As we celebrate their special birthday, we’d like to shine a spotlight on the incredible accolades the team have earned to date. Each award is a testament to their passion for creating delicious food and exceptional experience for their customers.
Eco-friendly excellence
Devon Farm Kitchen’s dedication to sustainability has been acknowledged by multiple award-winning organisations. Most recently, they were named Sustainability Pioneer at the Food Drink Devon Awards 2024/25. This accolade reflects their commitment to sourcing local ingredients, minimising waste, and operating in an environmentally conscious way. Their innovative use of ceramic bowls and plates is a pioneering approach to food packaging, eliminating plastic waste from their service.

For four consecutive years, Devon Farm Kitchen has been celebrated for excellence as an online retailer at the Food Drink Devon Awards and the Taste of the West Awards, including Best Online Retailer at the Food Drink Devon Awards 2023/24. In 2024, they received two silver awards for their Navarin of Lamb dish and for their Chocolate and Walnut pudding, while in 2023, they took home gold for their Lancashire Hotpot and their Lemon Curd Sponge pudding.
