Spending Time as an Inpatient
Your GP, consultant or Community Nurse Specialist might recommend that you spend some time in Rowcroft’s Inpatient Unit (IPU). Our team specialises in palliative care, so we can help to manage your symptoms. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You’ll be able to enjoy home-cooked dinners, music therapy, complementary therapies and access to our beautiful gardens, along with expert health and social care.
We’re a small IPU, with no more than 12 patients at any one time, so you’ll soon get to know the team. You’ll meet your doctor and nurse on your first day here. Together, we’ll talk about your care plan and your healthcare goals.
