Registration

What is the minimum age to take part in Ride for Rowcroft - Your Way? +

Everyone can take part in Ride for Rowcroft – Your Way, no matter what your fitness level. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 has full parental consent to take part and must be accompanied at all times by an adult.

When and where do we cycle? +

You can cycle whenever and wherever you like throughout May. You don’t even need to complete your target distance in one session; you can break it up throughout the week. Why not do a few miles a day?

Take a look at our suggested route map.

How much does it cost to register for Ride for Rowcroft - Your Way? +

The £5 entry fee covers the cost of the medal you will receive for taking part, the postage costs of sending this to you, and the administrative costs of setting up the Ride for Rowcroft – Your Way event.

Is there a minimum sponsorship amount? +

We ask that everyone who takes part either raises or donates a minimum of £20. We would love you to create a fundraising page to share with your friends and ask them to donate, but if you feel this isn’t for you, we also have the option for you to donate to us directly instead. Take a look at our fundraising pack here.

How do I record my cycling? +

The easiest way for us and you to track your cycling is using Strava. If you haven’t already, you will need to create a Strava account; you can do this at www.strava.com or download the app straight to your phone. Once you have a Strava account you can connect it to your fundraising page. All cycling activities on Strava will then be automatically posted to your fundraising page to track your progress.

To record an activity on Strava, just click the record button before you start cycling to track your activity. If you prefer to manually add your cycle route after you have done it, click the + button,  select manual activity and add the details.

If you would like join up with other Ride for Rowcroft – Your Way cyclists, you can join the Ride for Rowcroft group at strava.com/clubs/RideForRowcroft

For further help with Strava, please visit support.strava.com
