Live online learning event

Learning Objectives:

  • To improve knowledge and understanding about the anatomy and physiology of swallowing and illnesses affecting swallow function.
  • To be able to make an assessment of a person’s swallow and know when to refer for specialist support.
  • To improve confidence in the care and management of someone with swallowing difficulties.
  • To consider the communication and ethical decision making skills for people at end of life and how we can best support worried relatives and carers.

FREE to those working in the Rowcroft catchment area of Torbay & South Devon

Rowcroft is a charity that provides palliative care in South Devon. We expect non-local attendees to donate at least £10 per applicant for this learning event to help support our work.
