Learning Objectives:

  • To be able to recognise changes in skin, know how to care for skin and when to report the changes.
  • To explore the importance of mouth care at end of life and recognise some common problems.
  • To understand the importance of managing incontinence and recognising bladder related problems.
  • To increase understanding about appropriate bowel care management as someone approaches end of life.
