An enhanced DBS Disclosure will be sought for the successful applicant where necessary.
Enhanced disclosures are sought for positions exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and are primarily for posts involving regular contact with children and vulnerable adults. In general the type of work might involve regularly caring for, training, supervising or being in sole charge of vulnerable adults. Enhanced disclosures contains details of all convictions held on the Police National Computer including current and 'spent' convictions, details of any cautions, reprimands or final warnings, records held by local police forces and information held by the Department of Health of those considered unsuitable to work with vulnerable adults.
