Join Our Team as an Online Retail Livestream Volunteer /Social Influencer
Are you confident, enthusiastic and interested in social media, online shopping or retail? Would you like to help raise vital funds for a local charity while developing new skills and meeting new people? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support an exciting new venture as we launch eBay Live.
As an Online Retail Livestream Volunteer / Social Influencer, you’ll work alongside our Online Team to help create engaging live shopping experiences that raise funds for hospice care. Whether you’re interacting with viewers, showcasing products, supporting behind the scenes or helping promote our online presence, you’ll be making a valuable contribution to the success of our online retail activities.
As part of our welcoming team, you could be helping with:
- Supporting live online shopping events on eBay Live
- Helping present and showcase donated products
- Engaging with viewers through online chat and answering questions
- Supporting hosts with product information during livestreams
- Helping moderate chat activity and reporting inappropriate comments
- Assisting with preparing, packing and dispatching sold items
- Creating content ideas to support online and social media activity
- Helping promote Rowcroft’s online retail channels
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
No previous livestreaming experience is required. Full training and support will be provided.
This Role May Suit You If:
- You enjoy talking to people and making them feel welcome
- You are confident communicating with others, either on camera or behind the scenes
- You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- You enjoy social media, online shopping or retail
- You are reliable and keen to learn new skills
- You care about supporting your local community
- You would like to gain experience in online retail, social media or customer engagement
