The Big Tackle (previously The Male Trail) is back and we’re hoping it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!
Can you help make this happen, either as a Venue Volunteer or a Course Volunteer? It’s a really enjoyable way to spend a day and your heart will surely be warmed by all the goodwill and appreciation that our local community has for Rowcroft.
It’s taking place on Saturday 9th March. The course has breath-taking views of the coastline and it takes the walkers through the serene grounds of the hospice too. Once everyone has completed the course they will be welcomed back to a pasty and a cold pint in our heated marquee where they can watch the England v Ireland Six Nations game.
Volunteers are hugely important to us – without your help this event wouldn’t be able to happen. We promise to look after you with food, drinks and general positivity as our way of saying thank you!
You can sign up at The Big Tackle Volunteers 2024
We’re also looking for volunteers to visit pubs along route in advance of the big day, to ask them if they would like a Big Tackle pub pack. This includes beer mats, table talkers and posters which can be put around pubs to help promote the event.
If you would like to help with this promotion, or if you have any questions at all about the event then please call us on 01803 217632 or email Holly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
