Hospice Fundraiser – Self-employed – very competitive rates of pay – paid weekly
We are looking for self-employed full/part-time canvassers to recruit players to the Hospice Lottery.
The lottery is a popular, low cost and fun way to support the Hospice. If you are a great communicator and have great people skills, this could be the change you are looking for. This is a chance to enjoy your work and know that you’re really making a difference to local people.
The purpose of the post is to promote the membership of the lottery and grow the lottery by getting more local people to become members. Ideally, you will be interested in supporting the Hospice movement, be a very enthusiastic and confident person with high resilience and excellent interpersonal skills. It is essential that you are honest and reliable with an open and friendly disposition. You will be organised, very self-motivated and be an excellent team player. It is essential that you are able to maintain confidentiality. Previous experience of working within a similar role and environment would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given. The use of a car is desired due to the nature of the role as you will be required to drive to work within an operating location although those with good public transport links may be considered for some areas.
