Cancellation

It is with the greatest of sadness that we have taken the decision to cancel the forthcoming D2D event. This is in light of the new government restrictions that have been put in place over the last few weeks, and it goes without saying that the safety of our community is our top priority. I hope you understand why we have taken this decision, and I am very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.

If you have already signed up for D2D, you will be receiving an email with your options. If you were thinking about doing it, please email alison.upton@rowcrofthospice.org.uk  and we will let you know as soon as we have set a date for D2D 2021!

As the coronavirus sweeps through our South Devon community, Rowcroft is working around the clock to care for those most vulnerable. We are so proud of our teams – who are putting themselves on the line to care for patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses. We know that there are huge challenges ahead as the pandemic starts to put even greater strain on our already-stretched services. As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity and support of our wonderful local community – who fund the overwhelming majority of our care. Yet, sadly, given the current situation, many of our planned fundraising events and activities cannot go ahead over the coming months, and our shops and cafes have been forced to close. During these difficult times, it means the world to know that we have the support of our community behind us.

We would like to thank our sponsors, wollens.co.uk, The Cary Arms in Babbacombe, Caterfoods and all of our volunteers for their continued support of the hospice.

I hope that we will see you on one of our challenge events soon.
