We believe that everyone facing a life-limiting illness should have access to the highest quality care, which is tailored to their needs and aimed at giving them the best possible quality of life.
Schools and colleges

It’s amazing how motivated young people are at raising money for a cause they believe in! We have had the most incredible support from local schools and colleges, who have managed to donate a significant amount of money through simple and effective ideas such as 20p sales, mufty days or even sponsoring a teacher to sit in a bath of custard!

We also value developing good relationships with young people as it helps us to raise awareness of our work. We are happy to give talks on our work, and can arrange visits to the hospice. Our talks and presentations can be tailored to any age group, or can be given in any format such as classes, seminars or assemblies.
Education

A Hospice Education Resource Pack and CD Rom has been produced by the hospice movement for schools teaching the Citizenship Curriculum for 11 to 14 year olds. If you request a pack, please contact us to discuss how we can support youon its delivery.

Rowcroft Hospice would love to hear from your school or college if you are interested in supporting us in some way. Please do get in touch and speak to Laura on 01803 210846 or click here to send an email.
