Light up a Life December 2010  

 

Light up a Life is one of the hospice’s best loved and most meaningful community events, and is a time to remember those no longer with us in a special way.  

 

By taking part in Light up a Life you will be able to make a dedication, hand inscribed by a calligrapher in a Book of Light. There is also the opportunity to sponsor a light on the Rowcroft Tree of Light.  

 

 

Light up a Life services are also held across South Devon. The services are an opportunity to come together with others to celebrate the lives of your loved ones and to light a candle in their memory.  

 

 

Each church holding a Light up a Life service will have a Book of Light, and the Books will be on display at different times for viewing throughout the year.  

Supporting the hospice  

 

We ask that when making a dedication you also consider making a donation to the hospice, helping us to continue caring for people with a life-limiting illness. Last year, thanks to the kindness of Rowcroft’s supporters, Light up a Life raised over £26,000 for the hospice. By making a donation to this year’s appeal, you will be helping us to care for someone’s loved one at their time of need.
